2015 is an exciting year for the WSU Spokane Health Sciences campus with the re-launch of the Wellness Collaborative. Our mission is to foster a thriving culture of wellness for the campus community that will provide ongoing access to resources, workshops, articles, classes, and much more to help you excel in all realms of your health.
Earlier this year we asked members of campus what they would like from the Wellness Collaborative. Here is our initial focus:
Mindfulness and Meditation Sessions
- Mindfulness Course featuring: Pharmacotherapy Professor Tracy Skaer
- Meditation Room at the Saranac Community Building
Locker Rooms and Showers
- HSB Basement- Room #67, unisex restroom, 1 shower stall, no lockers
- HSB 2nd Floor- Locker rooms 221 & 223—Men’s and Women’s, 1 stall each
- Nursing Basement—Men & Women’s Restrooms, 1 shower stall each, no lockers
- Phase 1 Basement—Men’s & Women’s restrooms, 2 show stalls each, lockers without locks
Reduced priced gym memberships for Faculty and Staff

- Spokane Club
Walking/Running trails around campus
Physical exercise classes
- Flow Yoga Class, Mondays and Wednesdays 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. beginning October 21st. Located in Innovate Washington Building, Room 432.
- Drop in Single Class: $8.00
- Monday’s or Wednesdays: $40.00 (prepay)
- All 16 classes: $80.00 (prepay)
- FREE 50 minute Group Exercise classes, Mondays and Wednesdays 12:05 – 12:55 p.m., and 5:15 – 6:05 p.m. beginning October 25th
